Watercolour on paper (11" x 15")
I made this from another of the many sketches I have done during my visit to Lonavala. I am not satisfied with the figure in particular. Maybe, the rickshaw could have done with a bit mroe of detail. All comments and suggestions are welcome.

I like it. I particularly like how you have handled that big tree.The wet in wet handling of the huge clumps of foliage makes it look very beautiful.
To me the rickshaw looks fine as far as the details go, but a yellow streak across it (which most rickshaw's have) might have made it pop a little more.
Something that caught my eye is the perspective of the longish building to the right. I cannot pin point what it is but somehow the extended portion in the front of it and the rest of it don't seem to go together. Or maybe I need a visit to the optician :)
Overall, a very beautiful painting. Keep going.

Nice painting.. I think the details are more than enough for the auto.. It is good the way it is..
By the way do you use a scale when drawing?? The lines for the building look too straight.. Just breaking the lines a bit here and there will kill the monotony of straight lines.
for me auto details are just fine may be looks slighly bigger (as its close to human figure it should look littel smaller)
Tree foliage behind is handled nicely but to me the tree stem and branches are done does not gel with tree. it looks as if its seperate part. may be towards foligae you could have added darker shade of some foligae color and shown some hide in , hide out branches. Light is handled very well and its succesful landscape
Thanks Sujit, Prabal and Ajay.Yes, foliage is still such a grey area for me, but I am working on it and hopefully will get it going soon. The figure is actually supposed to be far behind the auto and therfore thy boh appear the same size. But I have somehow messed up the arial perspective. Thats why I am not very satisfied with the figure. Hope I learn from my mistakes.
