Vintage Car and Dubliners, Oil on Canvas Board, (10" x 12")
I am really enjoying doing these still lives in oil. The car is a small wooden toy and it was quite difficult getting all the dimensions as well as the tones right. I hope to do better the next time I do this subject.

Interesting subject. The wooden car is well done, but to my eye, the painting seems unfinished. I feel the same about my latest one, too; it seems a bit stark. Maybe a hint of more color in the background?
I like how you kept the background muted so that the focus is on the toy and the book. Well done!
