Fishing Boat in Telangkhedi

Fishing Boat on Telangkhedi, Watercolour on paper (7" x 15")

I enjoy sketching and spending time on the banks of telangkhedi lake in my hometown, Nagpur. I did this on from one of those sketches. It was a lazy summer afternoon and everything seemed to be still, idle and aimless. Dont know why such things make me nostalgic!

Not only you I think everybody does feel this way who are actually from small places and now living in cities. Always longing to go back.

This painting is very much in line with that theme. And the simple treatment gives it that peaceful small town charm.

Love this one. Simple, luminous, peaceful... Fragile and powerful at the same time.

Beautiful work and thank you for visiting me! By the way, your painting of Western Boulevard in my home town is quite lovely.
