Unexpected Visitors

Watercolour on Paper (15" x 17")

This was done from a spot sketch I did in the junk yard of the place where I work. This is the not so pleasant side of engineering and technology. This is where all the rusted junk is thrown away and no one comes here, the reason for the title. I love to roam around this place though and feel its romance!
All comments and suggestions are most welcome.

Beautiful work Vinayak. I really love the story behind it too :) The variation of color in the foliage is lovely. Great work!

I love how you transformed the rusted barrells into beautiful colorful objects in your painting. The choices you made for the trees and surroundings make the junk yard special :)

My first visit to your blog. The watercolours of simple subjects are rendered superbly. I like the freshness in the paintings! You have given life to the barrels and the junk yard!
